WINNING PROJECT OF THE RADO x VIENNA DESIGN WEEK MOVING MATERIALS COMPETITION 2023
In collaboration with the Swiss watch manufacturer RADO, the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK invited six motion design studios as part of the “Rado Moving Materials” competition to show new works on the video wall of the Rado Boutique in Vienna.

"QUANTI TEMPI" – How many times?
We explored this question concerning the layering of time and space in the transrealistic animation of the same name. In 8 briefly touched upon worlds, the loop shows a moving sculpture in which several of these layers are confronted with the dictates of time. The amorphously moving pieces and their surfaces are inspired by Rado's world of color and material; the clash a form of simultaneity – or timelessness.
The VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2023 program showed all the animations again from 22 September to 1 October – and announced QUANTI TEMPI as the winner of the Rado Moving Materials prize.

In QUANTI TEMPI we aimed to explore the RADO brand materiality in a unique manner – creating an animation that responds to the environment of the RADO Boutique in Vienna, offering the stream of pedestrians the opportunity to immerse themselves in another world.
